RE: st: RE: Forvalues Problem

Sorry, stupid Outlook decided I wanted to put all of that on one line, despite my insistence to the contrary.

Should read:

foreach i of numlist 3 7 8 10/30 35 37 80/100 104(2)110 113:115{ arg concerning `i' }

-foreach- has the capability:

foreach i of numlist 3 7 8 10/30 35 37 80/100 104(2)110 113:115{ arg concerning `i' }

foreach i in 3 7 8 {

worked fined but that was a simple example. I'd like to do the following

foreach i in 3 7 8 10/30 35 37 80/100 { gen byte d`i' = strmatch(diag,"*D`i'*") } unfortunately foreach does not have this capability. Nor does forvalue. Any more suggestions?
